BostonCAN is a climate justice group that broadens the constituency for a green economy and frames climate concerns to resonate with Boston residents’ daily lives. Since our formation, BostonCAN has collaborated with and connected two major constituencies: social and environmental justice groups in Boston’s low-income communities of color, and climate activist groups working at the state and federal level for energy policy change.  Through popular education, creative communications, and a unified messaging strategy, BostonCAN works to unify diverse constituencies behind a clean energy vision relevant to broad sectors of society.
