BostonCAN is a climate justice organization that works to broaden the constituency for a green economy and frame climate concerns to resonate with Boston residents’ daily lives.
BostonCAN believes that by emphasizing gas leaks, the growing “no pipelines” movement can connect with the struggles of low-income communities and communities of color that are articulating their own visions of transformative change. Through popular education, creative communications, and a unified messaging strategy, BostonCAN works to unify diverse constituencies behind a clean energy vision relevant to broad sectors of society.
