Parade Step Off

The Route

Gather at 12:45 PM

The parade will step off at Dorchester Avenue at Lower Mills (Point A on the map). We’ll gather at Mike Prokosch’s house at 12:45 PM and then head down together. (RSVP for Mike’s address) The parade will run along Dorchester Avenue to Columbia Road @ Dorchester Avenue (Point B on the map).

  • Comfortable shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Umbrella

Getting To The Parade

Due to street closures, driving and parking will be a challenge. We recommend using public transit, particularly the Red Line, to get to the stepping-off point. We recommend taking the Red Line to Ashmont and then taking the Mattapan Trolley.

Post-Parade Cookout

After the parade, join the BCAN team for a cookout at the home of one of our members in Dorchester. RSVP above for the address.
