June 15: Boston’s Future Buildings, How Do We Get to Net Zero? We have a tremendous opportunity to show how our state and our nation can accelerate the clean energy transition by maximizing energy efficiency and local, renewable sources of energy. But to get there, we urgently need net-zero carbon requirements for all new buildings in Boston. This forum asks the question: How do we make that happen in Boston? Hear City Councilor Matt O’Malley, Boston Green Ribbon Commission director John Cleveland, and other experts. 7:30-9 pm at the UU Church, 6 Eliot St, Jamaica Plain. Hosted by the Jamaica Plain Forum and the Boston Clean Energy Coalition.

Drink, snack and connect with neighbors at home.stead cafe; learn what the changing climate will do to Dorchester; pool our ideas for a resilient, green community; and hear what we can do to slow climate change now. 7-9 pm, 1448 Dorchester Ave.
June 26: Massachusetts Clean Energy Future Tour. The Senate Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change is holding hearings across the state to get input on clean energy and climate. How do you think the legislature should keep our state healthy, sustainable and strong? 6 pm, place to be announced.
